Guilt Answer Card
Short, honest answers for the three most common guilt thoughts — resting, needing help, doing less.
A keep-close version. Read it here, or screenshot this page to have it on your phone — print and PDF copies will appear once final files are attached.
For the moments a guilt thought arrives and wants arguing with. The card holds the answer, written by the you that could see clearly.
The answers
- 'You're resting again.'Rest is part of how the week works. It does not need to be earned.
- 'You're a burden.'The people still showing up are choosing to. That is evidence, not politeness.
- 'You've done nothing today.'Rest was the plan, and the basics held. Nothing was not nothing.
- 'You should be further along.'Behind only means something relative to a schedule — and the schedule was never real.
- 'Everyone else manages.'I see their outsides and my insides. That comparison has no honest result.
Conditioned guilt is a rule firing, not a verdict. You cannot obey your way out of it — you can only see it clearly and stop treating it as evidence.
